I have been interested in drawing all of my life. My Profession was architectural drafting until my retirement 12/31/2010.
I spent four years (1966 - 1970) in the U.S. Air Force teaching radio repair and also administered the photo hobby shop at Kessler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Mississippi in 1968 & 69. There I bought a used Nikon F, 35 mm camera and became interested in photography.
My family and other worldly obligations kept me away from photography until about five years ago when I was introduced to digital photography.
A photograph is a fractional second of history recorded so it may be shared with other people. It will never be repeated exactly the same way that God gave it to us at that particular time.
My goal as an artist is to share that moment in history that I was privileged to experience so that the observer wishes they were there to feel the power and see the beauty of the world around us.
I also hope my photos will cause people to slow down and find their own moments in time.
