Teena began basketmaking while living in Indiana.
After taking her first class she continued to experiment finding much pleasure in working with the natural materials.
After moving to Pennsylvania, she continued to develop her basketry skills while building up a small cottage industry to include wholesale markets.
Years later, and after earning several awards in shows in the East, Teena returned to the workplace leaving little time in her schedule for basketry.
Following a 15 year break in basket making Teena returned to her baskets, once again finding joy in the materials and what could be shaped from them. Combining textures and colors in interesting ways make Teena's baskets unique one of a kind creations.
